Rebekah Hernandez

Rebekah Hernandez, Council Assistant for District 10, joined the team in June of 2018 and provides policy, outreach, and communications support for Councilmember McGough. She previously worked as a Communications Supervisor at the North Central Texas Council of Governments where she oversaw legislative affairs and government relations for the Transportation Department. Prior to her time in Dallas, she worked at the Texas State Capitol during two legislative sessions for a State Senator. Rebekah has a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. In her free time, Rebekah can be found running at White Rock Lake and spending time in with her family in Lake Highlands.

Stedman Valentine

Stedman Valentine, Council Secretary for District 10, joined the team in August of 2018. Stedman works diligently to resolve constituent concerns, coordinate community events, and provide administrative support to Councilmemeber McGough. Stedman previously was apart of the Watermark Fellowship Program, a 10 month program that includes Biblically based, seminary style, theological training as well as practical ministry experience through leadership opportunities. Prior to his time in Dallas, he worked for Kanakuk’s Link Year. Link Year is a preparatory school located in Branson, MO. He served there as a Campus Shepherd and the Assistant Basketball Coach. Stedman graduated in the Spring of 2016 from Bryan College in Dayton, TN with a B.S. in Business Marketing and a minor in Biblical Studies. Stedman enjoys reading books (mostly the Bible), watching movies with friends, and serving at Watermark.
